Carter Services Plus offers payroll services as a stand-alone service or combined with our accounting/bookkeeping services. Our services maintain accuracy, timeliness, and flexibility. We form our services around the needs of our clients to fit your time needs, abilities, and desires.

TAXES & FILINGS

Oh the dreaded word, "TAXES." We take the stress out of your withholdings and tax compilance. We will take the headache out of completing these dreaded forms by composing these for you quarterly or as needed.

DIRECT DEPOSIT

Direct desposit is steadily growing in the US at a rate of around 10% every year and most are very happy to have this option. With this service, you do not have to worry about getting paychecks to your employees in a timely manner, keeping up with paychecks until someone returns from sick leave or vacation, or the cost associated with cutting paper checks. Again, this is catered to you so we schedule direct deposit transactions around your payroll frequency and timeline. We do NOT require you to change your payroll dates to accomodate our system.

PAYROLL SYSTEM

Due to the fact that our focus is on small and medium sized businesses, we have chosen to use the Quickbooks Payroll System to process payroll for our clients for the most part. We do this because majority of our clients operate utilitzing this software, are comfortable with the system, and appreciate the ease of transfer of data from our system to yours. We have and will utilize other types of softwares depending on the industry and need.

WEB ACCESS

Because we utilize the Quickbooks Payroll System, we also utilize the MyPaycheckOnline services. At the discretion of our clients, we upload all paychecks & W-2s to this online system where employers and employees alike have access to their payroll data. Employees appreciate this system as they are, many times, able to access their W-2s before the hard copies are mailed out. Employers like the system as they have access to all payroll history 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. This web access can be setup for employer only, or the employer can invite each employee individually to have access to their personal payroll data online.

GREEN PAYROLL PROCESSING

For those clients interested, we are able to maintain a "green" payroll process by providing direct deposit, email of paystubs to employees or online access to paystubs, and confirmation/approval via email for payroll processing. If clients prefer paper check-stubs, this is always an option at any time.

GARNSHIMENTS

Any needed additions or deductions to employees regular pay is easily accomodated. Many of these have different withholding rules and requirements. We will maintain the accuracy and compliance of these processes.

W-2's and 1099's

The production and distribution of all W-2's and 1099's are included in the payroll services of Carter Services Plus. These are compiled at the end of each calendar year and distributed before the IRS deadlines. If you are setup for online viewing, many of these forms are available much eariler in the regulation period and employees and vendors are able to view and print their documents themselves from the website. In cases where forms have been lost, many employees see this as a hugely valuable and timely asset.

VACATION/SICK/PAID TIME OFF (PTO)

We track all PTO for you. Employees will have the ability to keep up with their accrued or used PTO each pay period. Their used, taken, and available PTO will display on their pay stubs. All types of PTO are able to be tracked through our system.
